EY Pension Plan
It’s never too early to start planning for your retirement, and our defined contribution pension plan, administered by Desjardins, is designed to help you get there. Both you and the firm contribute a percentage of your salary toward the plan, and you select the funds that match your individual savings goals.
Full-time and Part-time employees at the Senior Manager/Associate Director level and below are eligible to join the plan effective the first of the month following their hire date. Please note that the firm contribution will be based on your EY Canada full time service only. For more information, visit the HR Connection.
Group RRSP
All employees are eligible to join our Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with Desjardins Financial immediately upon hire. Monthly payroll deductions make saving convenient and effortless, and you’ll get immediate tax savings through our group plan. TFSA
Tax-Free Savings Accounts (TFSA) offer many unique benefits to help you maximize your savings potential for any objectives, including retirement. You have the ability to contribute by online bank payment, prepaid authorization debit, lump sum deposit or transfer from another account. It is optional to join and is available to all staff, including spouses.
Although TFSA contributions are not tax deductible, your investment earnings and withdrawals are tax-free. Visit the HR Connection to learn more about our TFSA administered by Desjardins.

Eligibility and Entitlement
Permanent Staff
All permanent full-time and part-time staff working a minimum of 15 hours/week are eligible. The program applies to employees only, and does not extend to spouses or dependents.
- Eligible for reimbursement up to $1,000 per fiscal year at 75% of the cost incurred
- Partners are not covered by this program
Co-op Students
University students in a co-op program are eligible for reimbursement of 75% up to a maximum of:
- $400 for a 4 month work term; or
- $800 for a 8 month work term
Note: If you are hired full-time, your wellbeing entitlement cannot exceed $1,000 per fiscal year

LifeSpeak
This health and wellbeing online platform is available to you and your family. LifeSpeak features videos and podcasts, in both English and French, on more than 45 relevant health topics, with action plan downloads available from world-class experts in real time. Watch anywhere and anytime to help you overcome hurdles, have tough conversations, accomplish personal goals and manage day to day life both at work and at home.
Easily accessible wherever you are, LifeSpeak offers confidential, 24/7 information on subjects such as healthy eating, finances, communications skills, mental health and relationships. The topics included in the LifeSpeak library are organized in to 11 different divisions which include video, audio, and action plans related to the division subject.

The Personal Group Home and Auto Insurance
EY has made arrangements with The Personal, one of Canada’s leading group insurance companies for over 40 years, to offer you a preferred group insurance rates. The Personal is a subsidiary of Desjardins who provide EY’s group retirement programs. This offers all our people, as well as their partners and eligible dependants, preferred group rates on home and auto insurance that are not available to the general public. Note that auto insurance is not available in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and BC as auto insurance is government run in these provinces.
